Crossroads was established on September 1, 2004.
Our outpatient treatment programs started with a small client population of Atlantic County residents that same year. The actual partial-care program was housed in a 10,000 square foot facility at our current location. Since January 2009, the program now occupies approximately 16,000 square feet of space in its new expanded facility at the same address and we are now catering to all surrounding counties such as Atlantic, Burlington, Cape May, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem.
Crossroads has also expanded from a purely Medicaid insurance-based service in 2004, to becoming an in-network provider for Magellan Health Services, Independence Blue Cross, AmeriHealth, Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NJ, Managed Health Network, CIGNA Behavioral Heath and The Health Care Payers Coalition of New Jersey, as well as several other self-insured unions and private providers. In that same time, we have also expanded our outpatient treatment programs hours from daily services Monday through Friday to also include select weekends and regular evening hours.
At Crossroads, we pride ourselves on helping our local community and all of our surrounding southern New Jersey neighbors. Behavioral healthcare is our strength and we are proud to serve our region. In 2010 we opened our first substance abuse outpatient treatment program in Suite 2, the adjacent 5000 Sq/ft. office space located at our 205 West Parkway Drive, Egg Harbor Township property. In the last five years we have expanded treatment and services in Egg Harbor Township and Washington Township (Turnersville) to include, substance abuse primary co-occurring partial care, substance abuse primary co-occurring intensive out-patient and mental health & substance abuse out-patient services.
